The Central Coast Chapter has been busy over the last few weeks by way of assisting two local people with badly needed funds. A donation of $500.00 was made to the Jack McCabe Fund being organised by Avoca Beach Football Club. Jack was a young sixteen year old footballer who was tragically killed while on holiday in Bali with his parents. He played for Avoca Under 16 team and the Club organised a Fund Raising Function to assist his family with funeral and other expenses. Steven Grimmit is a goalkeeper with Berkeley Vale Men's first grade team. He unfortunately had a seizure whilst out shopping and fell and hit his head on the concrete floor. He has since been unable to work, and being the only bread winner his family was in need of financial assistance. Berkeley Vale Football Club organised a Fund Raising Football Day and the Central Coast Chapter donated an amount of $250 to the Fund which raised approximately $2000 on the day..
