Men of Football is a not for profit organisation which seeks to assist football participants in times of need. Our assistance is not solely for players but for any participant in football. We have some simple aims and objectives.

They include:

  • Assisting past football participants who may have fallen on hard times
  • Providing support and assistance to the families of past and present football participants who have passed on or need their support
  • Assisting current football participants to realise their potential and participation in the game

Hunter Reunion Dinner 2016


Hunter Men of Football celebrated their annual reunion on Friday 29th July at the Duke of Wellington Hotel, the evening was attended by approximately 160 members and non-members, the evening also provided the opportunity for Hunter Men of Football to celebrate those who have represented Australis whilst plying their trade in our region, 5 different decades were celebrated on the night with our eldest Socceroo in attendance being 93 year old right through to our latest Socceroo from 1999 in  Clayton Zane, David Lowe was our master of ceremonies and he provided many laughs during the night, Hunter Men of Football would like to thank Steve Smyth and the Duke of Wellington for his hospitality on the night.
