16th August 2017

The event was an outstanding success

A very special thank you to George Rafty for his generous Donation and to all sponsors that contributed to make this night.

To David Lowe and the committee of MOF Hunter Brad Robb, Darryl Regan and Stephen Smyth for their Organisation and work to make the night a great success.

To have the Australian coach take time out of his busy schedule and drive to Newcastle, stay the night, drive back to Sydney all on his own, shows his passion and commitment for the game in Australia.

The highlight of the night came when David Lowe interviewed Ange. Ange answered all questions with a refreshing honesty and spoke of his early years growing up in Melbourne where he developed his love for the game. He spoke about the qualifiers for the World Cup, answered questons from the floor and you could hear a pin drop when he was speaking such was the respect shown for the Australian coach.

Ange made himself available to the media and all guests during the event

Ange's parting words were that he will be back and thanked MOF for inviting him. Good luck Ange in the Qualifiers, from all who attended, we wish you and the team well.
